Bad dental experiences

Not everyone cares about their patients as much as we do, and so some patients come to us with fears about dental work. We’d like to assure you that your comfort is of the utmost importance to us. We’re not happy unless you’re happy.

Afraid of getting numb

Some people have a fear or numbness, because they feel as if they are losing control, or because it makes them very uncomfortable. We have experience working with such patients, and if you fall into that category, rest assured that we will work with you to provide the best and most comfortable experience possible.

Years of dental problems

Don’t think that just because you’ve had years of dental problems that we can’t help you now. With the proper care, any smile can be fixed, and no matter what condition yours is in, we are confident that we can help. Never give up your dreams of a radiant smile.

We offer the following services:

Same day emergency treatment

Radiant Smiles is more than happy to assist you in the case of a dental emergency. We can schedule same-day appointments to solve your problem fast. This could include toothaches, a cracked or lost tooth, loss of or loosening of fillings, root canal therapy,

Orthodontics

We offer a wide range of orthodontic treatments. Orthodontics, plainly put, is concerned with making sure your teeth and jaw are straight. This commonly includes the use of braces or retainers, but can include more advanced methods, depending on your needs.

Cosmetics

If your smiling isn’t looking like it should, we’re here to help. We’ll use our proven cosmetic dental expertise to help give you the smile you deserve, using treatments such as crowns and veneers. It’ll improve your appearance, your confidence, and can even have real oral health benefits, such as improving your bite.

Braces

Braces are used to correct crooked teeth or a misaligned bite (an overbite or underbite). Braces work by continuously pushing teeth into their desired shape and location in the mouth. This can result in an amazingly improved smile and a more convenient, comfortable bite.

Implants

Implants and dentures are two different ways of replacing missing teeth. If your gums and jaw are healthy, replacements teeth (implants) can be surgically implanted into the jawbone. This allows for a natural tooth replacement that you can then treat like any other tooth, and that will last for 20 years or more with proper care.

Dentures

If you don’t have a strong and healthy jaw and gums, dentures may be the better choice. Dentures are false teeth, and are often held on with denture adhesive, rather than surgical implantation, allowing them to be used with a weaker jawbone or gums. Come into the Radiant Smiles office to find out which is right for you.

Sedation

Sedation dentistry involves the use of medication to help patients to relax during treatment. This ranges from minimal sedation, where the patient is fully awake, but relaxed, all the way to general anesthesia, where the patient is unconscious. This is especially useful for patients who are afraid of going to the dentist, either because of a low pain threshold, extreme nervousness, or very sensitive teeth, as sedation dentistry can eliminate all three.

Crown

A crown is used to cover a damaged tooth to improve its appearance, shape and strength. This is often done to restore a damaged/broken tooth, to protect a weak tooth, to hold a dental bridge in place, or for a cosmetic reason, such as hiding a discolored tooth.

Teeth cleaning

Teeth cleaning really is as simple as it sounds: we clean your teeth. However, there are benefits other than just a whiter smile and preventing tooth loss. Getting your teeth cleaned can also help to reduce your risk of stroke, heart disease, and dementia. This is because ignoring your oral health can lead to gum disease, which can wear out your immune system and lead to diseases in the rest of your body. This is why getting your teeth cleaned regularly is so important.

Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas)

Nitrous Oxide - otherwise known as laughing gas - is one method of sedation that may be used to help you feel relaxed during dental procedures. It won’t put you to sleep, and you’ll still be able to respond to the dentist, but you should feel much more calm and comfortable.

Bad breath

While bad breath can be kept at bay with conventional methods, such as brushing, flossing and mouthwash, continuing bad breath can be cause for concern. If you are concerned about your bad breath, you should come into Radiant Smiles Dental’s office so that we can make sure it’s not a symptom of a more serious problem, such as dry mouth or gum disease.

All aspects of dentistry

It doesn’t stop here! We are experts in all aspects of dentistry. No matter what your oral health problem, we can fix it and give you your radiant smile.
